Recipe
This cold brew recipe makes 1 liter of delicious, smooth cold brew. What you need:
- Dosage: 60g of Rwanda Ngera filter coffee beans
- Water: 1 liter of fresh cold water
- A clean 1-liter bottle or jar
Step 1
Grind 60g of coffee beans to a medium grind size, similar to a traditional filter coffee grind.
Step 2
Add the ground coffee and cold water to your empty bottle. Stirring is not necessary.
Step 3
Place the bottle in the refrigerator and let it steep for 12 hours. The slow extraction enhances the coffee’s natural sweetness and complexity.
Step 4
Do not stir the cold brew and carefully pour it into a container. Most of the coffee grounds will stay in the bottle. If necessary, filter it through a paper coffee filter for a cleaner taste. Note that this will slightly reduce body and sweetness.
